NZZ: A successful Züri Fäscht app

NZZ takes stock of the Züri Fäscht app 2013 — the ETH research app through which voluntary festival visitors donated anonymised movement data so that a picture of visitor density could emerge.

The article notes the high level of participation and the scientific value of the data collected. For antavi, this first large-scale deployment formed the basis for developing the method into a deployment-ready platform for organisers, police and medical services.
