SRF Gesundheit heute: Parkinson's

The SRF programme «Gesundheit heute» is dedicated to Parkinson’s and, from minute 16:47, picks up ETH research into smartphone-based detection of tremor and gait changes — work from the Wearable Computing Lab from which antavi emerged.

The segment shows how sensors that fit into daily life can deliver medically usable data. Methodologically this is closely related to the crowd sensing with which antavi today turns mobile data into an operating picture for event safety and medical services.
